The “Desenvolve Talentos Negros” program is our affirmative action initiative aimed at promoting the professional growth and development of black employees in entry-level operational or administrative positions. The initiative directly contributes to our goal of achieving 40% Black leadership by 2030.
The first edition, completed in 2024, included 1,075 hours of training, as well as job rotations and a final challenge in which participants presented cases for areas such as CRM, Market Intelligence, Technology, Data Science, and OMNI. As a result, six employees were approved and promoted to their areas of interest.
In the second edition, the focus was on accelerating the careers of retail talent. Employees working as sales associates and sales assistants participated in a 10-month program, with development tracks and hands-on experiences that accelerated, on average, three years of professional growth. By the end, 50% of participants reached the case presentation stage, and among them, 75% were promoted to assistant sales manager positions.
