Our commitment to the future starts now

At VESTE S.A., we believe in fashion that creates a positive impact.

Every day, we work to reduce our impacts, adopt responsible practices, and create products that respect the planet and people.

We are on a journey of continuous evolution — innovating, improving, and transforming fashion into a force for good.

Caring for the planet is part of who we are

We work to reduce impacts across our entire value chain — from the choice of materials to the energy we use, from cotton traceability to waste management.

We are making progress on science-based climate targets, expanding the use of lower-impact raw materials, ensuring transparency in cotton sourcing, and operating with renewable energy.

We are also advancing in recycling, responsible packaging, and partnerships that strengthen the entire textile value chain.

People at the center of everything

Caring for people is part of our identity.

We promote equality, expand opportunities, and empower diverse talent across our entire value chain.

We support female leadership, strengthen Black representation, invest in training and development, and collaborate with social projects that transform lives.

Transparency and ethics guiding every decision

For us, governance is synonymous with responsibility.

We act with ethics, transparency, and respect for human rights, ensuring trustworthy relationships with investors, partners, suppliers, and employees.

We follow best market practices, are listed on B3’s Novo Mercado segment, and maintain policies, codes, and channels that reinforce our commitment to integrity and data security.

Transparency and Commitment

Every year, we share our progress, goals, and challenges through reports and communication initiatives. We work with transparency because we believe sustainability is built together with our customers, partners, and employees.

ENVIRONMENTAL

Our actions related to the environmental pillar

Our environmental pillar is based on the continuous assessment and measurement of impacts across the entire production, commercialization, and operation chain of our brands. We strive to act in an increasingly responsible manner in product manufacturing, waste management, and distribution. We work closely with partners and suppliers who share our values of responsibility, promoting the efficient use of energy and water, encouraging waste segregation and recycling, and the use of renewable resources.

COMMITMENT TO CLIMATE ACTION

Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are one of the main drivers of the worsening climate crisis, highlighting the urgent need for mitigation actions by organizations and governments to ensure a sustainable future for the next generations. Within the context of the fashion industry, we recognize our responsibility and maintain a strong commitment to reducing environmental impacts. In 2025, we advanced in our decarbonization journey and submitted our reduction targets to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), one of the leading global benchmarks for the scientific validation of climate targets.

In this way, we ensure that our commitments are aligned with what science indicates is necessary to limit global warming, strengthen transparency and credibility with the market, and ensure that our emission reduction actions are ambitious, measurable, and consistent with today’s climate challenges.

In addition, we are also part of the Net Zero Ambition Movement, an initiative accelerating the transition toward a carbon-neutral future, led by the United Nations Global Compact. This commitment reinforces our engagement in the decarbonization journey.

USE OF RESPONSIBLE MATERIALS

We work to expand the use of lower-climate-impact fibers in our products, aiming for 25% by 2025. We follow industry-recognized criteria, such as the ABVTEX – Brazilian Textile Retail Association’s Preferred Materials and Fibers Matrix Guide, and align with the Textile Exchange’s Materials, Processes, and Product Classification Guide, which guide our choices of raw materials responsibly and in line with global best practices.

Learn about the criteria and attributes of these raw materials:

COTTON TRACEABILITY

In September 2023, we joined the Sou de Algodão Movement, an initiative by ABRAPA (Brazilian Association of Cotton Producers). This membership reinforces our commitment to responsible practices and highlights a fiber that is essential to our portfolio.

In 2024, cotton accounted for 55% of the materials used in all the products we sold, followed by polyester (18%) and viscose (11%), demonstrating the importance of this raw material in our collections.

Our brands Dudalina and Individual are part of the Sou ABR program, which ensures full traceability of cotton garments, guaranteeing the socio-environmental certification of the raw material’s origin in our products. Consumers can access detailed information about the origin of the cotton through a QR Code on the product labels, enabled by blockchain-based technology that securely and reliably records every step of the production process, respecting the individuality of each product’s traceability.

OUR SUPPLIERS

Our national suppliers of apparel, accessories, and footwear are certified by the Brazilian Textile Retail Association (ABVTEX). To obtain this certification, suppliers undergo a rigorous audit to ensure compliance with industry best practices and legal requirements, addressing issues such as child labor, slave labor, and any form of discrimination. The audit also verifies fair working hours, worker safety, and full compliance with labor laws and environmental regulations. Even after certification and the start of the partnership, suppliers must remain compliant with these rules and pass our internal audit annually.

OUR FACTORIES

We have factories in Terra Boa (PR) and Aparecida de Goiânia (GO). In both locations, we ensure safe and adequate working conditions, with organized and hygienic environments, regulated working hours, and facilities designed for employee well-being.

All units undergo internal audits and ABVTEX certification, which evaluates labor, social, and environmental requirements. They also hold environmental licenses and carry out certified disposal of all industrial waste, ensuring responsible operations from start to finish.

The Terra Boa factory holds the ABVTEX Gold Seal, the highest level of certification. This indicates 100% compliance, more mature processes, and consistent responsible management practices—an achievement that demonstrates excellence and full adherence to industry standards.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AUDITS

In addition to the requirement of ABVTEX certification, we also conduct periodic internal audits (or spot audits in specific cases) to monitor our suppliers. This work has been publicly recognized by government authorities and adds value and professionalism to the entire production chain.

We provide all necessary support to ensure that suppliers consistently meet the highest standards. If a supplier fails to meet the targets we set, we implement a corrective action plan to address non-compliance. If the supplier still does not comply after three months, we discontinue the partnership.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

In 2024, we took another important step in our journey toward energy efficiency and reducing environmental impacts by adopting the use of renewable energy as part of our commitment to increasingly sustainable operations.

With this change, all of our facilities — the office and distribution center in São Paulo, as well as the two factories — are now powered by clean, renewable energy, ensuring that our activities are carried out with a lower environmental impact.

By 2030, our commitment is to use 100% renewable energy across our entire operation, including stores.

WASTE

Managing waste responsibly is essential to prevent impacts on soil, water, air, and human health. With this in mind, we seek to deepen procedures that can increase the eco-efficiency of our waste management. A significant portion of our materials is recycled, such as cardboard, paper, plastic, glass, and wood, alongside a small volume of hazardous waste, such as lamps and general electronic waste. All of these are directed to environmentally proper disposal, ensuring our compliance with the guidelines and regulations established by law.

At our Terra Boa factory, textile scraps from the production process are sold for recycling, and the funds raised are fully reinvested in social initiatives in the city. Since 2024, this initiative has enabled donations of appliances, electronics, and food to a local elderly care home.

PACKAGING

We prioritize paper packaging, and across all our brands, these carry the FSC® certification, which ensures the sustainable sourcing of the raw materials used in bags and various packaging.

Although plastic bags for clothing are not provided to customers in physical stores, they are necessary for e-commerce to prevent damage during shipping and are also used in wholesale (B2B). Taking an important step to meet our public goals and commitments, we partnered with a supplier that works with 100% post-consumer recycled plastic. As a result, in 2025, we began this replacement, providing a more sustainable alternative without compromising product protection.

EURECICLO PARTNERSHIP

Since 2022, we have been partners with EuReciclo, the largest reverse logistics certifier in the country. Through this environmental compensation solution, we ensure that 100% of the same volume and type of packaging delivered to our customers—both in physical stores and e-commerce—is recycled. This partnership directly contributes to reducing the environmental impact of waste, while also generating jobs and income for waste pickers and cooperatives, supporting the creation and development of a fairer recycling chain.

Since the beginning of our partnership with EuReciclo, we have facilitated the recycling of 721 tons of paper and 25 tons of plastic.
